Positioned as an accessible alternative to the higher-end Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, this upcoming release aims to address the fit issues and awkward pressure points of its predecessor. By shifting toward a C-bridge style clip design, Bose provides outdoor runners and gymgoers with environmental awareness without sacrificing comfort during extended training sessions.
Ditching Rigid Hooks for a Flexible Clip-On Fit
The original Bose Sport Open Earbuds gained a cult following for keeping runners aware of traffic and ambient surroundings, but their stiff plastic ear hooks proved polarizing. Users with distinct ear shapes often complained of soreness after an hour of continuous wear.
