TCL has unveiled the A400U Premium Wallpaper QD-Mini LED TV on its global website, introducing a sleek new addition to its TV lineup. The A400U is distinguished by its slim 44.5 mm (1.75 inch) body, designed to sit almost flush against the wall, earning it the “Wallpaper” moniker. However, unlike typical art TV models, it does not include a frame or matte screen.

This new MiniLED TV features a 4K resolution display combined with QLED technology for enhanced color and brightness performance. It boasts a native refresh rate and can reach peak HDR brightness levels up to 2,500 nits. The panel used is a CSOT HVA with a native contrast ratio of 7,000:1, ensuring deep blacks and vivid visuals.
The largest 98-inch model is equipped with an impressive 1,344 local dimming zones, allowing for precise backlight control and improved picture quality. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the TCL A400U’s support for a remarkable 288Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) through its VRR Game Accelerator. It also includes Game Master functionality and is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, helping to reduce screen tearing and input lag for a smoother gaming experience.
Smart Features and Audio
The TV runs on the Google TV platform, offering easy access to a wide array of streaming apps. It supports Gemini technology, delivering personalized movie and music recommendations based on user preferences.
