Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Phase 2 Brings Evanescia and New Banners
Honkai: Star Rail 4.2 Phase 2 is now live across all servers, ushering in the second half of the game’s third anniversary update. This phase introduces the new 5-star Physical character Evanescia, alongside three rerun banners and a complete set of Light Cones available until June 1, 2026. With the closure of the Silver Wolf LV.999 banner from Phase 1, players can now focus their Stellar Jades spending on the Phase 2 lineup.
Introducing Evanescia: A New DPS with a Unique Resource System
Evanescia, the headline addition in Phase 2, is a 5-star Physical character on the Path of Elation. Her banner, The Demoiselle in Charge, features alongside 4-star characters Guinaifen, Lynx, and Sushang. Evanescia’s signature Light Cone, Until the Flowers Bloom Again, is available through the Brilliant Fixation banner.
Her combat mechanics revolve around a dual-resource system linking energy and a secondary resource called ‘Certified Banger’. Energy gained generates Certified Banger, which in turn generates energy, creating a self-sustaining loop. Upon accumulating 240 energy, Evanescia activates Master Fox, a follow-up attack dealing physical elation damage to all enemies and regenerating energy to maintain the cycle. Her skill targets a primary enemy and adjacent foes, generating Punchline stacks that boost Elation multipliers, defining her damage potential. Rerun Banners and Light Cones in Phase 2
The Indelible Coterie rerun banner returns with fan-favorite characters Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao. Their signature Light Cones are available through the Coalesced Truths banner, which also features boosted rates for 4-star Light Cones like Swordplay, Memories of the Past, and Shared Feeling.
Players who missed their 50/50 chance during Phase 1 carry their guaranteed 5-star probability into Phase 2. Additionally, pity accumulated on previous limited banners transfers to The Demoiselle in Charge banner. The standard 50/50 draw system applies across all Phase 2 banners, with a hard pity cap at 90 pulls and a base 5-star chance of 0.6%.
Those who miss Evanescia during her initial banner have no confirmed rerun date, meaning the opportunity to summon her closes when Phase 2 ends on June 1, 2026.
