While the device has yet to reach United States retail shelves, consumers in Canada, France, Italy, and Singapore can already purchase the unit. Most importantly, Asus has already implemented aggressive discounts in these regions, making the entry-level configuration significantly more attractive than its original MSRP suggested.
At its core, the TUF Gaming 16 (2026) is built around a 144 Hz IPS display with a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution. It covers 100% of the sRGB color space, which is a welcome inclusion for a budget-tier device. Under the hood, the base model currently features an Intel Core i5-14450HX processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 laptop GPU. The system includes 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, though specific configurations vary by region.
