Unlike conventional Mini LED displays that push white light through a color filter, this hardware architecture relies on individual red, green, and blue LED light sources. This shift enables full 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, delivers a massive peak brightness of 5,000 nits, and reduces energy consumption by roughly 30% during single-color scene rendering compared to the previous 2026 models.

Peak brightness alone means little without localized control, and Xiaomi has outfitted the series with a substantial array of full-array local dimming zones.
