With this latest update, users can now monitor their heart rate zone mid-workout. This feature can be enabled by navigating to Workout > Workout Settings > Data Pages > Heart Rate Zone on the watch. This addition provides immediate feedback on exercise intensity, helping users optimize their training sessions.
New Workout Metrics Improve Tracking
The update also introduces three new workout metrics: remaining distance, remaining ascent, and remaining descent. These metrics are calculated both for the next waypoint and the final destination, offering users a clearer picture of their progress during activities involving navigation or route tracking. Enhanced Navigation and VO2 Max Accuracy
Firmware 4.8.3.5 enhances the sensitivity of turn-by-turn reminders and refines the text displayed during route navigation to improve clarity. Additionally, interaction with the track page during workouts has been optimized with improved visual effects, making it easier to follow progress in real-time.
Amazfit has also improved the accuracy of the VO2 Max algorithm, allowing for more precise fitness assessments based on oxygen consumption during exercise.
Availability and Installation
This update is rolling out gradually to Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 users. Once available in your region, the firmware can be installed via the Zepp app on your smartphone.
