Amazfit has expanded its Cheetah 2 lineup with the introduction of the Cheetah 2 Ultra, a smartwatch designed especially for trail running enthusiasts. This new model emphasizes extended battery life and enhanced display performance.
Amazfit smartwatch battery life extended up to 30 days
The Cheetah 2 Ultra stands out primarily due to its battery endurance. While the Cheetah 2 Pro features a 540 mAh battery, the Ultra model boosts capacity by 44% with a 780 mAh cell. This upgrade enables up to 30 days of use in standard smartwatch mode, or approximately 60 hours when location services are continuously active.
Larger AMOLED display with improved resolution
The smartwatch sports a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, larger than the 1.32-inch screen found on the previous Pro version. Its resolution has increased slightly from 466 x 466 to 480 x 480 pixels, while maintaining an impressive brightness of 3,000 nits. This ensures clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Enhanced performance and storage
Under the hood, Amazfit equips the Cheetah 2 Ultra with an HS3s CPU, which is expected to deliver better performance compared to the HS3 processor used in the Cheetah 2 Pro. Additionally, internal storage has doubled to 64 GB, providing ample space for apps, music, and data.
Robust titanium alloy build and versatile design
Durability is a key feature of the Cheetah 2 Ultra. Its casing is constructed from grade 5 titanium alloy, complemented by physical buttons for easier navigation during activities. The watch supports standard 22 mm straps, and Amazfit supplies two strap options in the retail package for customization.
The Cheetah 2 Ultra is available in the Eurozone with a price tag of €599. This positions it as a premium choice for users seeking a smartwatch with long-lasting battery life, a bright and sizeable display, and rugged construction for outdoor sports.
