Russian IT infrastructure provider Yadro has officially unveiled the Kvadra NAU LP14, a lightweight 14-inch corporate ultrabook tailored for business and government deployments. Weighing as little as 1.1 kg (2.42 lbs) and powered by Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake processors, the laptop offers flexible platform support across Windows 11 Pro and domestic Linux distributions such as Astra Linux and Red OS. Official pricing for the device has not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.
Housed in a compact magnesium chassis measuring 313 x 224 x 19 mm, the NAU LP14 balances mobility with structural durability for daily field and office work. The unit features a 14-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, framed in a productivity-focused 16:10 aspect ratio. The panel reaches up to 400 nits of brightness and covers 100 percent of the sRGB color space, making it well-suited for document processing, spreadsheets, and outdoor usage.
Meteor Lake Architecture and Flexible Memory Expansion
Under the hood, the Kvadra NAU LP14 utilizes Intel's Meteor Lake platform, giving enterprise buyers a choice between Intel Core Ultra 5 125U and Core Ultra 7 155U processors. Both chip variants feature integrated Intel Arc graphics to handle core visual workflows and hardware-accelerated media rendering. To avoid performance bottlenecks in heavy multitasking scenarios, Yadro configured the laptop with 8GB of soldered DDR5 memory alongside a single DDR5 SO-DIMM expansion slot. This hybrid layout allows IT departments to scale system RAM up to a total of 40GB.
Internal storage is handled through a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot. Yadro offers factory storage configurations ranging from 256GB to 1TB solid-state drives, giving enterprise fleets fast access and storage capacity for encrypted corporate databases and local operational files.
Broad Port Selection and Enterprise Infrastructure Support
Despite its slim profile, the NAU LP14 maintains a traditional set of physical ports rather than relying exclusively on external dongles. The port selection includes one Thunderbolt 4 port, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with Power Delivery support, two USB-A 3.2 ports (one Gen 1 and one Gen 2), a full-sized HDMI 2.1 output, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader. Standard wireless capabilities include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, while an optional internal 4G/LTE module can be added for mobile broadband connectivity outside the office.
For corporate teleconferencing, the ultrabook includes a 2MP Full HD webcam as standard, with a higher-resolution 5MP Full HD+ camera available as an option. Hardware security relies on TPM 2.0 functionality powered by Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) for protected key storage and integrity checks, accompanied by a physical Kensington lock slot for workstation security.
Desktop Docking and Multi-OS Enterprise Support
To transition the laptop into a stationary workstation, Yadro introduced the optional Kvadra DS-Link 10 docking station. Connected via a single USB-C cable, the dock delivers up to 96W of power delivery while driving up to three external displays. The dock also includes Gigabit Ethernet for wired office networks, simplifying hot-desk setups in corporate environments.
On the software side, the NAU LP14 provides native support for Windows 11 Pro alongside domestic enterprise operating systems, specifically Astra Linux and Red OS. This multi-OS strategy caters directly to corporate and government procurement requirements aiming for software flexibility and infrastructure autonomy.
