Bluetti has launched the Balco series plug-and-play solar system alongside the Balco Transfer Hub, aiming to simplify residential solar energy use with flexible, smart solutions. Introduced at a recent event in Paris, these new products target users looking to easily install and expand solar power capabilities with portable power stations and smart home integration.
Balco Series Solar System Offers Scalable Power
The Balco series currently includes two models: the Balco 260 and Balco 500. The Balco 260 delivers up to 2,300 W total output through its off-grid outlet when combining battery storage with grid input. The Balco 500 offers a higher maximum output of 3,680 W and incorporates a high-voltage MPPT design (70-140 V), allowing it to capture up to 4,300 W of solar power efficiently.
Both models are designed to be expandable. The Balco 260 can be paired with up to six units, creating a system with 15 kWh of capacity and a solar input of 14.4 kW. Meanwhile, the Balco 500 can scale from 5 kWh to 30 kWh of energy storage. Each unit can independently power nearby devices or coordinate with others using Bluetti’s Space feature, forming a distributed energy network throughout the home. Balco Transfer Hub Enables Grid-Tied Solar Compliance
Alongside the solar panels, Bluetti introduced the Balco Transfer Hub, a smart grid-tied controller. This device allows users to build balcony solar systems that comply with grid regulations while using portable power stations for energy storage. The Transfer Hub manages the energy flow between solar input, battery storage, and the electrical grid, enhancing the system’s efficiency and reliability.
Smart Home Compatibility and Control
The Balco series supports integration with external platforms such as Shelly and Everhome, as well as popular smart home ecosystems including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Home Assistant. This makes it easier for users to monitor and control their solar energy setups remotely and automate their home energy management.
Availability and Pricing
Details about pricing and availability have not been disclosed yet. Bluetti plans to distribute the Balco series and Transfer Hub through its official channels and select partners. Interested users can find more information on Bluetti’s official website as it becomes available.
