Lenovo has unveiled its latest 15-inch convertible laptop, the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 15IPH11, featuring a 165 Hz OLED display and an 84 Wh battery. This new model expands Lenovo’s IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 lineup in Europe, following the smaller 14-inch variant released about six weeks earlier. The 15IPH11 has been available in Australia and North America since late March, with European availability starting now.
Lenovo 15-inch convertible laptop powered by Core Ultra processors
The IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 15IPH11 is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 325 processor in Europe, with a possible future release of the lower-end Core Ultra 5 322 variant, already available in North America. Benchmark comparisons suggest the Core Ultra 5 325 delivers CPU performance close to the Core Ultra 7 355, which Lenovo also offers in this model. Both processors share the same integrated GPU featuring 4 Xe3 cores.
Upgrade-friendly hardware and memory options
This convertible laptop offers configurations with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM running in dual-channel mode. Importantly, both the RAM and M.2 2242 SSDs are user-upgradeable, a feature that sets it apart from many other 15-inch laptops. The device includes two M.2 2242 slots, allowing users to expand storage easily. Related coverage: Ultralight laptop under 1 kg: Lenovo officially launches ThinkPad.
High-refresh OLED display and battery choices
Display options include a 1200p IPS panel with 60 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness or a 1600p OLED panel featuring a 165 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. The OLED display offers superior color accuracy, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color space compared to 45% NTSC on the IPS panel.
Battery options include 60 Wh or 84 Wh capacities, with the larger battery designed to support longer usage times between charges.
